Question:
I want to add pull ups to my workouts as I understand they are one of the best ways to strengthen and build my upper body. The problem is that I can’t even do one on my own. Do you know of any equipment I can use to assist me until I become strong enough to perform them on my own?
Thanks,
John
Answer:
Hi John. This is a question to which lots of men and women want an answer. First of all, don’t be discourage as few people can crank out several reps at a time when they first add pull ups to their workouts. Second, and to answer your question, yes there is a something you can use to assist you and make doing pull-ups with good form possible. It’s called the PullUp Revolution and is made by Lifeline Fitness.

The PullUp Revolution helps you do pull ups by using its resistance tubing to provide assistance during the pulling part of the exercise. You can actually adjust the band on this device to add or remove assistance. This is great as they help you progress incrementally until you are doing pull ups on your own. Each PullUp Revolution can provide up to 100 lbs of assistance making it useful even if you are a complete beginner.
The way that you use it is by attaching one end to your pull up bar and then place your foot in its loop. You then perform your pull ups with perfect technique.
You can buy the Lifeline PullUp Revolution online at Lifeline USA.
